Our Mission

Pinnacle Prep School is committed to encouraging and engaging lifelong learners by developing intellectually capable minds, building ethical characters, and creating compassionate leaders who will contribute to the common good in a global society.

Philosophy & Goals

Our goal is to enable students to pursue excellence in themselves and guide them toward the attainment of their full potential. We believe in a comprehensive and integrated approach to teaching that fosters understanding of the concepts over mere memorization.

When students aren't challenged, they will give mediocre academic performance, resulting in a loss of self-esteem. We provide that challenging curriculum and, where needed, the necessary remedial instruction. We do not settle for average at Pinnacle Prep School; therefore, students excitedly work toward their full potential.

Learning disabilities can cause a lapse in critical, fundamental concepts, resulting in frustrated students who end up feeling defeated. We at Pinnacle Prep School end this pattern and teach to the student, not a set curriculum.

The anxiety or low self-esteem students experience can lead to behavior issues; however, once a child begins to experience success, many of those issues lessen. Pinnacle Prep is unique in that it is a school that is knowledgeable, understanding, and willing to provide a program that addresses every student's individual needs in a positive way.

Pinnacle Prep School also works to make the middle school transition a little easier to traverse. Because of the individualized nature of our school, our students are better able to overcome adversity that confronts teens during this time of their lives. We engage with the students until they master each unit before advancing to the next. If a student has not shown command of the material, the student will receive remediation until it is mastered.

We foster an atmosphere that promotes a desire to learn and excel. We have an integrated approach tailored to individual student needs and aptitudes. Our class size is small, comprising eight students or less, and is very conducive to monitoring each student's progress and providing the necessary guidance for steady advancement.

Our Students Succeed!

We believe that having small classroom sizes allows our teachers to focus on each student's needs. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 8 to 1, our teachers get to know every student as an individual and teach every student based on their abilities. Our 8 to 1 student-to-teacher ratio gives students personal attention, the ability to build a trusting relationship with their peers and teacher, and personal coaching. The small classroom size allows for students who need more attention from their teachers to get their questions answered at the time they need it. After completing their studies at Pinnacle Prep, our students have moved on to some of the top private schools in DFW: Hockaday, St. Mark's School of Texas, Greenhill, ESD, and Jesuit.
