Mr. Greg Spivey, our Principal at Pinnacle Prep School is a firm believer in our school’s mission of creating a unique, accelerated academic environment that encourages children to reach their potential. Every child is different and we encourage and promote that student’s strengths.  At Pinnacle, we focus on every child being special and making a difference in tomorrow’s world. We challenge and motivate our students to be lifelong learners.

Mr. Spivey has served for thirty years in the education field with the last fifteen as superintendent. During his career, he has performed the duties of teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and superintendent. Mr. Spivey and his family have recently relocated to the North Dallas area.

Mr. Spivey was born and raised in Diboll, TX and graduated from Diboll High School. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Education degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University located in Nacogdoches, TX. Mr. Spivey has worked for school districts in Huntington, Diboll, Apple Springs, and Grapeland.

Mr. Spivey has been married to his lovely wife, Lori, for 30 years and has two beautiful daughters, an awesome son-in-law, an amazing granddaughter, and adorable new grandson.

He has been active in various regional and state educational organizations. He has served as the Education Service Center VI Study Group Chairman (nominated and voted on by the superintendents of the region) as well as the Regional Advisory Committee Chairman. In addition, he has recently completed his second term as a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Association of Community Schools and has previously served on the Texas Association of School Administrator’s Small Schools Advisory Committee. He has also been a member of the Texas Rural Education Association and the Texas Association of Rural Schools.

At Pinnacle, we focus on every child being special and making a difference in tomorrow’s world. We challenge and motivate our students to be lifelong learners. Students should feel comfortable at school and classrooms in taking risks intellectually without fear of failure and learn to solve problems and communicate effectively.
